Basic and Intermediate Tax Preparer Training

Peoples Tax LogoThe University of Illinois Tax School is pleased to partner with The Income Tax School, a division of Peoples Tax, to provide basic and intermediate tax training.

Through these online self-study courses, you can learn how to prepare basic 1040 tax returns with the Basic course, or combine it with the Intermediate course to become a full-service preparer.

Participants earn 30 CPE credits for each course!

Materials

Each online tax course comes with a hard copy of The Income Tax School manual, which makes it easy for participants to read assignments offline. To help save time and printing costs, all the tax forms needed to complete each assignment and exam are included. These materials become a great reference once a tax course is completed.

Course Structure

Participants can proceed through each topic at their own pace, taking the open book exam when they are ready. Instructors are available for support, as well as discussion boards with other students.

Cost

$299 each (Basic or Intermediate) or $499 for both (Comprehensive Course)

NOTE: The basic and intermediate courses expire 4 months from date of purchase, and the comprehensive course expires 6 months from date of purchase.
